You Are Considering This for One or More of Only 9 Reasons

You wish to form a new consulting/coaching business focused on leadership & management through the

lens of Profit for Purpose

In Place Impact will only certify people who are as passionate about the purpose of Impact Economics as they are about the financial profit it can return. Current consultants will tell you that we respectfully decline more applications than we accept.  For this reasons we have created an anonymous self-assessment tool that you can access here. Based upon your automated and instantaneous results, you will have an option to complete an application form, then arrange a 30 minute virtual meeting so that we can introduce ourselves to each other. If all goes well, you will be invited to join the Certification cohort most appropriate for your timing

Impact Economics was designed by Stuart Williams and his family. It took almost 20 years to research and design, and almost 10 years to live test and prove that it works. Thus, after almost 30 years, and over $9m of investment, it was ready to be scaled at the end of 2019.

In Place Impact has certified people in the United States, Liberia, Costa Rica, Honduras, & Guatemala. The current cohort includes people from America, England, Nigeria, and Canada.

Certification in Impact Economics requires 18 hours of tuition (generally over a 6 week  period), a test, and the execution of In Place Impact's certification/licensing agreement. Classes are run 8 times each year.

In Place Impact provides certifications that cover unique geographic territories. The cost of securing a territory is calculated using a matrix of population, GDP, and the number of registered businesses in a specific location. Locations are generally community, city, state, or country based.

The minimum cost to secure the sole rights to a community, city, state, or country is $10,000.  Based upon the data used in the matrix, In Place Impact recommends how many certified consultants would be required to maximize the profit and impact that could be created by embedding Impact Economics in a specific community, city, state, or country. The fee paid covers the training and certification for as many consultants as are recommended. The minimum is 4, and the maximum could be over 100.

If you would like to know how much it would cost to secure the sole rights for your city, community, state, or country, please email Emily at

Please do not apply until you have read the important information below.

Once certified, you can immediately start using all of the tools provided to start helping companies, educational institutions, students, community residents, Impact Entrepreneurs, Impact Investors, NGO's, your local government, and the most marginalized segments of your community to build a sustainable future.

  4. 5% of all net consulting fees are paid to In Place Impact for ongoing training, servicing, and support.

  5. Approved regions are unique to the Certified Consultants working within them. In Place Impact cannot operate in approved regions operated by non-employees and vice versa
